Alliance- United Way of Western Nebraska is now accepting applications for Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets in Box Butte County on their website at uwwn.org/holidayfood. The food baskets are intended for individuals and families in the Box Butte County area that need additional food resources.
The food is generously provided in partnership with Safeway, Alliance Ministerial Association, area churches, local non-profit organizations, local businesses and generous community members that come together to ensure that food insecure families have much needed food during the holiday season.
Monetary donations may be mailed to United Way, P.O. Box 617, Alliance, NE 69301 with “food baskets” in the memo.
