LOCAL BUSINESSES OFFERING HOLIDAY PROMOTIONS FOR UNITED WAY!
Tis the season for hope, happiness and comfort! Some local businesses are currently offering great holiday promotions to benefit United Way of Western Nebraska! What a great way to celebrate the holiday season….by enjoying GREAT FOOD and in turn, making a difference by supporting United Way of Western Nebraska, the agencies they help fund and the important work they do in their communities
The Scottsbluff, Gering and Bridgeport Taco John’s are teaming up to help United Way of Western Nebraska make a difference in their communities by offering their holiday Nachos Navidad promotion! The promotion runs through December 24th, with a portion of the proceeds from each Nachos Navidad sold donated to United Way of Western Nebraska.
The Scottsbluff Sam & Louie’s Italian Restaurant is also running a promotion for the whole month of December. They will be donating $1 to United Way for every specialty pizza purchased.
The Midwest Skyview Drive-In Theater is showing several different holiday movies this month. Free-will cash donations will be collected at the entrance and the proceeds will be split between the Midwest Theater and featured community organizations. The weekend of December 11th and 12th they will be showing the films “Land Before Time” and “Elf”, with United Way being featured as their charity partner.
The desire to help LOCAL people in their communities was a predominant driver in these businesses choosing United Way of Western Nebraska as their charity partner for these promotions. The goal is two-fold: the most obvious is that they want to raise funds to donate directly to a worthy organization that touches so many people’s lives. Second—and equally important—they hope this promotion will aid in the community awareness of the programs and services United Way of Western Nebraska and their partner agencies provide in order to make an impact in their communities.
