United Way Stuff the Bus Presents Stuff the Bus Proceeds to Area Schools
Alliance- United Way of Western Nebraska serving Box Butte and Dawes Counties presented proceeds from the Stuff the Bus drive to four area schools in Box Butte and Dawes Counties to help area school children with school supplies. The drive ran July 19 through August 6 with 100% of all donations used to help local kids with the necessary school supplies.
Schools benefiting from Stuff the Bus drive are Alliance Public Schools, Chadron Public Schools, Crawford Public Schools and Hemingford Public Schools. A total of $2000 was distributed to the local schools ensuring that local children in need can receive the necessary supplies needed for school. The monetary donations will be used to purchase school supplies and those supplies are distributed to local children in need to help them get started on the right foot and succeed in school.
