Since 1991, United Way has recognized a Pacesetter/Corporate Leader of the Year—an honor awarded to organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to community engagement and philanthropic leadership.
The Pacesetter award is based on several key criteria, including:
- Creativity and execution of the in-house United Way campaign
- Effective employee education about United Way’s mission
- High levels of employee participation
- Significant increase in giving
- Per capita contributions
- Timely completion and submission of campaign materials
ALLO Communications has been a dedicated United Way partner for over a decade, consistently going above and beyond to support the organization’s mission. Their 2025 internal campaign saw a remarkable 62% increase in total giving, reflecting both strong leadership and enthusiastic employee involvement.
From custom campaign t-shirts to hosting community BBQs across the service area, ALLO’s support is both creative and impactful. Their team has also earned repeated recognition at United Way’s Quackers ‘N Cheese event, winning the coveted “Best Duck” award multiple times.
