people in western Nebraska are in need of assistance as recent fires have displaced families, destroyed Properties, livelihoods and devastated communities. In response, United Way of the Western Nebraska (UWWN) has created the Western Nebraska Fire Relief Fund.

Donations will be used to provide essential support for individuals impacted by the fires, supporting needs not covered by insurance or FEMA assistance. This includes services like direct support to community volunteer firefighters on the front lines, temporary housing, legal support, mental health supports, resource navigation and more. Recognizing affected families will experience a range of diverse needs, UWWN has activated our partnerships with local programs to be responsive and adaptive as needs emerge.
